Job Description:

Clean Harbors is actively seeking a dedicated CDL Driver - Class B, who will operate within our transportation and logistics department, focusing on environmental and industrial service solutions across North America. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping us to maintain our commitment to safety and environmental preservation while effectively transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. This position requires rigorous adherence to safety protocols and a conscientious attitude towards sustainable environmental practices. Transport and handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials with strict compliance to company and regulatory guidelines. Regularly inspect transport equipment and vehicles for safety compliance and perform minor repairs as needed. Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate logs and reports of travel and material handling according to federal and state regulations. Coordinate with logistics managers to plan routes and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer requests. Participate in safety meetings and undergo routine training to stay updated on industry regulations. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and participate in the overall upkeep of company facilities. Proven ability to operate a Class B commercial vehicle. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards. Solid physical endurance for manual labor and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent navigation ability and familiarity with GPS and traditional mapping systems. Good communication and record-keeping skills necessary for reporting and documentation. Experience with hazardous materials transportation and waste disposal procedures. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B) with Hazardous Materials Endorsement. DOT Physical Card. Clean driving record. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification is a plus.
