Principal Software Engineer180k-220kRemote - EST preferredA client of ours is seeking a seasoned Backend Software Developer (12+ years) to join our tight-knit, agile team and build scalable, reliable cloud-based web applications. You'll work closely with the Chief Software Architect, collaborating with product management and engineering to tackle complex projects using Java, Postgres, Firebase RTDB, and Snowflake. Our multi-threaded backend leverages an asynchronous message bus to connect with the frontend and Firebase, requiring expertise in distributed systems, relational database design, and Linux.Key Skills:

• Multithreaded/asynchronous Java programming
• Relational database expertise (Postgres, Snowflake)
• Linux and Docker experience
• Google Cloud Services knowledge
