Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Catholic Charities is seeking a
mission-driven professional to lead our Senior Community Service
Employment Program (SCSEP), a federally funded initiative that
provides employment, training, and job search assistance to
low-income adults aged 55 and older. This role is central to
helping participants transition into unsubsidized employment and
make meaningful contributions to their communities. Key
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the SCSEP program in
compliance with federal guidelines and the Center for Workforce
Inclusion Sponsorship Agreement. Develop and implement strategies
for recruitment, placement, and operational/fiscal management.
Recruit and enroll eligible participants, conduct orientations, and
place individuals with qualified Host Agencies. Ensure timely,
cost-effective delivery of services and maintain strong
relationships with One Stop Career Centers. Monitor Host Agency
agreements and conduct annual site visits. Achieve program goals
for unsubsidized employment and maintain accurate reporting. Manage
the program budget and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Lead quarterly Senior Aide meetings and the annual Host Agency
Supervisors meeting. Provide training and support to staff, and
represent the program publicly to community partners and
stakeholders. Travel using a personal vehicle. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Services,
Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in job
placement, workforce development, and program administration.
Familiarity with local government and nonprofit agencies. Valid
driver's license and proof of insurance. Strong organizational and
time management skills; self-motivated. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills in English, with the ability to
deliver effective presentations. Proficiency in Spanish or other
languages commonly spoken in Worcester County is a plus. Ability to
engage professionally and sensitively with diverse stakeholders.
Physical/Mental Requirements: Ability to respond to participant
needs within the community. Normal range of vision and hearing,
with or without correction. Ability to walk and climb stairs across
Catholic Charities offices. Sound judgment in decision-making and
