Key responsibilities include: Providing physical therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual student needs Collaborating with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes to support academic and physical development Adapting therapy techniques to accommodate a diverse student population across various grade levels Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and school policies Desired experience and qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state certification Previous experience working with children in school-based settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to assess and plan individualized therapy programs within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility and professionalism essential to manage the varied demands of a school environment Location: Boston, Massachusetts Benefits of this role include a structured contract for the school year, the opportunity to influence childrens physical development positively, and the chance to collaborate closely with educational professionals in a supportive setting.
