Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Post Anesthesia Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Boston, MA. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am. /n - Provides post-operative nursing care to the patient in an individual, emotionally supportive manner, consistent with any directions or orders given by the anesthesiologist and/or attending physician. /n - Documents all nursing activities and writes a nursing discharge note when the anesthesiologist documents that the patient is ready to be transferred to the progressive recovery room. /n - Ensures that all needed equipment and supplies are stocked and readily available. /n - Monitor’s and documents the patient’s vital signs and level of consciousness as per nursing procedure. /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts. /n /n - 2 years of acute care PACU RN experience required. /n /n - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required. /n /n - Must submit resume, cover sheet, two references, and a completed skills checklist. /n /n - Required: 3 years of total RN experience, including 1 year of travel PACU experience and 1 year of experience in an academic medical center. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
