WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit ~ Discipline: RN ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~36 hours per week ~ Shift: 12 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Step-Down RN for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Cambridge MA. Travelers can earn up to $2,448 per week for this role. Job Function: ~ Day Shift or Night Shift. ~12x3. ~ Deliver patient care following the principles of Relationship-Centered Care and the nursing process, grounded in theory, research, and evidence-based practice. ~ Assess and evaluate patient needs, applying critical thinking to manage care effectively. ~ Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, transitions, health promotion, and disease prevention, while anticipating their needs and readiness to learn. Job Requirements: ~ Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. ~ Current RN license for the state of Massachusetts. ~2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown RN experience is required; ICU/CCU background is highly preferred. ~ BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association.
