Maternal - Newborn for a local contract nursing job in Boston,
Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Maternal -
Newborn Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift:
12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is
currently seeking a Mother-Baby Registered Nurse for a contract
assignment at a prestigious hospital in Boston, MA. Job Function:
Day Shift or Night Shift. 3x12. Categorizes patients according to
appropriate classification levels. Identifies emergency situations
and promptly notifies the provider. Administers medications
following the five rights of safety and infection control. Screens
and reassesses patients for pain per established guidelines.
Considers patient age and condition in all assessments and
interventions. Job Requirements: 2 years of Mother-Baby RN
experience. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current Registered Nurse
license for the state of New York. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
Fetal Monitoring Certification is preferred. Disclosure: The hourly
