LPN nursing practice follows the current Nursing Practice Act and Guidelines from the Department of Health, and Board of Nursing for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for gathering data for assessment of patients, assisting with the planning for patient care, interventions assigned, and providing input for the evaluation process. The LPN is an essential part of the team providing care to a variety of patients in various settings. Collaborates to promote high quality, cost efficient health care.QualificationsEducation:Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical NursingCertificationsRequired: Current Massachusetts LPN license; American Heart Association BLS certification.For Telemetry and higher acuity units, ACLS (AHA) and EKG may also be required.Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
