Job Description:
The Physical Therapy Assistant provides supervised, prescribed
physical therapy care to improve patient function and manage
pain.
After the initial evaluation and goal-setting by a licensed
physical therapist, the assistant implements treatment plans
focusing on prevention, rehabilitation, and maximizing
independence.
Requires graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant
Program, current Oklahoma licensure, and Form 5 Supervisor
Confirmation; temporary approval may be available during licensure
processing.
Must hold BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
Experience in hospital, outpatient, or orthopedics settings,
preferably in acute care or outpatient orthopedics, is
preferred.
