Job Description Job Description Forklift Mechanic / Technician Lift Truck Parts and Service, is a Family owned forklift business with excellent pay and benefits. We are growing and have an opening for a full shop forklift technician to perform maintenance and repairs on new and used forklifts. Job Duties Troubleshoot, Diagnose and repair LP propane, Electric forklifts of all makes and models Perform all assigned planned maintenance on rental and customer forklift trucks Perform pre delivery inspections on new equipment. Ensure all safety items on each forklift are properly maintained and functional Keep paperwork and proper records of each job Keep shop and yard clean. Tag all equipment coming into shop. Must have own tools to perform duties. Complete any other assigned tasks to contribute to effective operation of the service & repair department. Experience: Previous automotive or equipment repair experience is preferred, but not required. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction Hourly pay is competitive depending on experience.
