Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Position available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based settings, located in Boston, MA. This contract role focuses on providing therapeutic support to students within educational environments, ensuring their physical development and participation in school activities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat students with physical impairments or disabilities, promoting mobility and functional independence. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and healthcare professionals. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff on student physical needs and adaptive techniques. Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and regulations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant school or pediatric experience. Knowledge of therapeutic techniques applicable in a school setting. Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and documentation skills. Experience working with children of varying physical abilities preferred.
