of Field ExperienceThe Assistant Professor/Director of Field
Experience serves as a faculty member in the graduate psychology
program, providing administration, oversight, and coordination of
the clinical training component of the Master of Arts in Counseling
Psychology degree.What We Offer:

stability.Functions of the Assistant Professor and Director of
Field Experience:
- Support Student Success: Develop and maintain practicum and
internship sites, visit sites remotely or in-person, and build
relationships with site supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with state licensure regulations.
- Assist students in site selection and review application
materials for practicum and internship.
- Technology Management: Manage technologies related to Field
Experience, including site affiliation agreements, student and
supervisor evaluations, hour logs, and related paperwork.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze student field experience data to
identify strengths and weaknesses, and recommend program or course
improvements.
- Teach and Inspire: Teach six graduate-level psychology courses
per year, blending in-person and online formats. One course may be
undergraduate or an overload.
- Licensure as a mental health professional required; LMHC
preferred.
- Minimum of a Master's degree; Doctorate in Counselor Education
and Supervision or Counseling Psychology preferred.
- Three years of post-licensure practice; collegiate teaching
experience preferred.
- Familiarity with state licensure regulations and experience
with field placements and internships in higher education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for
relationship-building with students, faculty, and partners.We
